Our Havenmaking Journey

Lucky Fall Festival

Lucky Fall Festival

This time last year, we were walking around the Lucky Fall Festival for the first time. We had been dreaming up Haven + Pine for quite a while but had just started an Instagram account and building momentum in the Spring. We were gearing up to begin our Kickstarter Campaign and had very little product... but a ton of heart and ideas! We quickly saw how special the creative community was here in Spokane.  So many makers and small business owners came up to us, introduced themselves and encouraged our journey.  It was a turning point for us- a, "What if WE could be here next year!!" moment.

Lucky Fall Festival brings creatives, makers, families and friends all together to usher in Fall!  Celeste Shaw (owner of Lucky Vintage and Pretty Things) has a beautiful vision and heart for this festival- which sets an inviting tone of community, cheering others on and supporting small business. We are so thankful we got to spend more time with Celeste and watch her welcome and love on all the vendors and shoppers alike!!  Her joy in connecting with people was so sincere and uplifting to witness.

When we arrived this year with two car loads and a pick up truck full- we felt overwhelmed with gratitude for all God has done with Haven + Pine in one years time. We started putting our booth together under a magical canopy of Fall trees and twinkly lights.. praying for all who entered our booth- that they would feel loved, welcomed and seen!! We felt giddy as we displayed our treasures and made cozy touches to our little booth haven!! Our favorite part of the day was by far meeting all of YOU.  We felt humbled to have you in our tent and be able to share our hearts and products with you. It was so special to put (Instagram) names to real faces, listen to your havenmaking stories and how you have used our items!! We felt so affirmed and encouraged to keep going. For us, this is so much more than a gift box company.  Our heart is to love people well through gift giving, while giving all the glory to the ultimate gift giver!  Every one of our products is intentionally made with this in mind.

Below is a glimpse into our booth!

It was wonderful to be along side so many sweet and talented makers!! We were thankful to be neighbors with the darling Audrey from Sparrow Baby and our girl Annecia from Sage + Moss!  Annecia's macrames stopped us in our tracks last year as we shopped the Lucky Fall Festival!!  We feel so privileged to have her mini macrame's in our Home Haven Box!!

If you are looking for a great spot to shop, head to Lucky Vintage and Pretty Things located at 1406 S Inland Empire Way; Spokane, Washington. They are open Wednesday-Saturday... and then make sure to head down the road to Shop ReJuv too!! You'll be glad you did:) Thank you to all who came and supported this great festival.  It was a day that we will not too soon forget.  We can only hope to say, until next year sweet friends!!

xoxo,

Ginny & Meghan
